Rules of the Room
EarthStation is one shared conversation for people across one planet. You may chat freely, but the room must remain calm, respectful and safe.

No flooding
Do not overwhelm the room with excessive text, symbols, line breaks or rapid messages.

No repeated messages
Do not repost the same or substantially similar message, including repeated advertising or promotion.

No advertising or spam
Do not repeatedly advertise products, services, businesses, channels, referral links, fundraising or unrelated websites.

No discrimination or dehumanisation
Do not attack, exclude or demean anyone because of identity, nationality, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender or sexuality.

No bullying, harassment or threats
Do not intimidate, shame, stalk, pressure or repeatedly target another person.

Be human
Speak to others as real people. Be thoughtful, patient and respectful, especially when someone’s experience differs from your own.

No impersonation, scams or deception
Do not pretend to be another person, misrepresent your identity or use EarthStation to mislead others.

No explicit, illegal or graphic content
Do not post sexual content, graphic violence, illegal material or anything intended to shock or exploit others.

No dangerous instructions
Do not encourage self-harm, violence, criminal activity or risky behaviour.

Protect privacy
Do not post private addresses, precise locations, phone numbers, passwords, financial information or another person’s personal details.

Use Signals and Beacons responsibly
A Signal, Beacon or public contact does not guarantee a reply and never implies consent. Approach people respectfully.

Leave room for others
EarthStation is a shared room. Keep messages reasonably brief and avoid dominating the conversation.

Follow moderator instructions
Neo and the Cavorion team may remove messages or restrict access when these rules are broken.
EarthStation works only when people choose to care for the room they share. Bring curiosity. Leave room for others. Remember that everyone enters NIGHT from a different place on Earth.
