Create a Beacon that feels like you
Share a few real interests, where you are in the world at a broad level, and what kind
of connection you are open to. Give people something easy to ask you about.

Meeting someone special
If you are open to romance, add the ❤️ Signal and keep the rest of your Beacon natural.
Share who you are rather than writing a long list of what another person must be.
- Be honest about your intentions.
- Lead with interests and personality.
- Let connection develop without pressure.
- Respect silence, boundaries and a change of mind.

Start with curiosity
A thoughtful question is usually more memorable than a generic compliment.
Respond to something the person deliberately included in their Beacon.
- What made you choose that line for your Beacon?
- What can you see from your part of Earth tonight?
- I noticed we share an interest in astronomy. What drew you to it?

Photo-free by design
EarthStation is currently photo-free. Its simple design is deliberate: it encourages
people to notice words, interests and ideas first, while preserving a little mystery.
If you would like others to see photographs, you may include an Instagram handle,
LinkedIn profile, personal website or another public link in your Beacon. This is entirely optional.
You decide how much of yourself to reveal.

Contact happens through your Beacon
EarthStation does not provide private messaging. Someone can only contact you through
the details or public links you choose to place in your Beacon.
- Add an email address only if you are comfortable receiving messages.
- Use a public social profile or website instead of private details where possible.
- Leave contact information out entirely if you prefer not to be contacted.
Privacy
Your privacy remains in your hands
Cavorion Night is designed to give you control over what other people can learn about you.
We strive to protect user privacy at all times, but anything placed in a Beacon should be
treated as publicly visible.
- Do not publish your home address, passwords, financial details or identity documents.
- Never send money to someone you have met online.
- Use public-facing contact details rather than highly personal accounts.
- If you meet offline, choose a public place and tell someone you trust.
- End contact if behaviour feels coercive, deceptive or unsafe.
