Show what you are open to
Signals are optional symbols you can add to your Beacon. They help others understand what kind of connection you may be open to, without turning your profile into a form or checklist.
EarthStation is a place to meet people, share ideas and discover meaningful connections. Some may become friendships, collaborations—or something more.
Signals are optional symbols you can add to your Beacon. They help others understand what kind of connection you may be open to, without turning your profile into a form or checklist.
Share a few real interests, where you are in the world at a broad level, and what kind of connection you are open to. Give people something easy to ask you about.
If you are open to romance, add the ❤️ Signal and keep the rest of your Beacon natural. Share who you are rather than writing a long list of what another person must be.
A thoughtful question is usually more memorable than a generic compliment. Respond to something the person deliberately included in their Beacon.
EarthStation is currently photo-free. Its simple design is deliberate: it encourages people to notice words, interests and ideas first, while preserving a little mystery.
If you would like others to see photographs, you may include an Instagram handle, LinkedIn profile, personal website or another public link in your Beacon. This is entirely optional.
You decide how much of yourself to reveal.
EarthStation does not provide private messaging. Someone can only contact you through the details or public links you choose to place in your Beacon.
Cavorion Night is designed to give you control over what other people can learn about you. We strive to protect user privacy at all times, but anything placed in a Beacon should be treated as publicly visible.
